Not just a craving for food, but for that unforgettable Thai street flavour — the smoky aroma from sizzling woks, the tang of lime and chili, and the warm buzz of people sharing food and laughter under the night lights.

That craving turned into a dream.

RON Thai Street Canteen was founded by Ron, a young Malaysian with a big love for Thai street food. His journey began with simple adventures — tasting food from roadside stalls in Bangkok, wandering through Chiang Mai night markets, and learning how each stall had its own unique recipe, passed from one generation to another.

When he returned home to Bandar Sunway, he knew what he wanted to do — create a place where people could enjoy that same authentic Thai street experience, right here in Malaysia.

In 2024, RON Thai Street Canteen opened its doors — a cozy, welcoming space where everyone can feel at home. Our kitchen cooks the way Thai people cook: fresh ingredients, bold flavours, and a whole lot of passion. From our fiery Tom Yum Goong to creamy Green Curry Chicken, every dish is made from scratch with a balance of spice, sweetness, and warmth.
